    A toddler was found wandering near a La Mesa park by herself Monday morning, but police say the little girl is safe and unharmed. La Mesa police received a call about the child shortly after 6 a.m. The 3-year-old girl was spotted walking alone near Harry Griffen Park in the 9500 block of Milden St. Officers responded and safely took the girl into their custody.

Those businesses are allowed because voters approved Measure U on November 8. Application numbers were issued at a January 9 informational workshop attended by about 250 people, according to city manager Yvonne Garrett.
