Laurie Wider Uesugi, 45, faces 12 felony charges including theft from an elder, grand theft, use of a counterfeit seal, mortgage fraud and procuring and offering a false or forged instrument, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's officials and Los Angeles County booking records.
