Spring Chinook fisherman ply the waters off the mouth of the Wind River from both shore and boat in pursuit of one of the northwest's most desired salmon which are returning to Columbia River tributaries right now. During the final four fishing days on the Lower Columbia , anglers made 18,031 trips and caught 3,719 adult spring chinook and 46 steelhead. Comment?

I mentioned in an earlier report that I had been in the Columbia River Gorge fishing for steelhead and salmon. I fly fished the Klickitat River and got a couple of steelhead and the next day got three nice kings fishing with Herb Good off the mouth of the White Salmon River. Comment?
