"We had already planned a small living history program that we were going to have here at the museum on March 7, because it is the anniversary of the Battle of Wyse Fork, and the week closest to the scuttling of the CSS Neuse, which was on March 11," said Holly Brown, historic interpreter at the Neuse Center.
