    At about 5 p.m. Sunday Kinston police officers responded to a call at 1101 North East Street and found Nico Tyrell Jones, 19, with a single gunshot wound to his hip, according to a press release.  Jones was transported to UNC Lenoir Hospital and later flown to Vidant Medical Center by EastCare Air Ambulance for additional treatment, according to a press release.  If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are asked to call the Kinston Police Dept.
