At 1:11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, Hackettstown police responded to a car accident at the intersection of Route 517 and Cook Street for a report of a car accident where the driver tried to drive away from the scene but was stuck, police said, adding that witnesses saw the driver exit the car, fall down and then walk away from the crash.

At 10:48 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, a Mount Olive police officer patrolling Route 46 stopped a vehicle he observed fail to maintain its lane of travel and while speaking with the driver -- identified as Harrell -- detected the odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle, police said.
