    One of the most decorated Dipsea competitors stood near the finish line as a spectator during Sunday's 106th installment of the race. Joe King, 90, first ran the Dipsea - the 7.5-mile footrace from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach - in 1947, when he was a student at Marin Junior College, and went on to compete in 17. He won consecutively in 1995 and 1996 - when he was 69 and 70 - a feat that was duplicated on Sunday by Kentfield's Brian Pilcher, who won his second consecutive with a time of 57:28.
