    The Wyoming Highway Patrol has not yet determined what caused a fatal crash on Highway 59 near Wright early Thursday morning, Trooper Amber Huschka said. Kaycee Smelser, a longtime Campbell County resident, was driving a pickup south on Highway 59 about 4 miles north of Wright when she passed a vehicle in a passing zone.

    A 26-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision near Wright, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper Amber Huschka. Kaycee Smelser, 31, was driving a Ram pickup south on Highway 59 about four miles north of Wright at about 5 a.m. when she left her lane and hit Jessica Cano De Najera, who was in a Dodge Journey heading north, Huschka said.
