The Gators, who pounded out 17 hits and capitalized on three Badger errors, put up 11 runs in their first at-bat, added two in the third, nine in the fourth and four in the fifth before the game was called via the 10-run mercy rule.

    The Karnes County Sheriff's Office made 12 arrests April 30 through May 6, including 70-year old Juan Rodolfo Enriquez, of Corpus Christi, on a bench warrant for murder on May 3. Other arrests were: a Hector Manuel Lopez-Ramirez, 34, of Runge was arrested on April 30 on charges of criminal mischief and terroristic threats family violence. a James Brian Hernandez, 36, of Runge was arrested on May 2 on charges of failure to pay child support.
