    A hospital in northwest Montana that's accused of paying some of its physicians at above-market rates in exchange for patient referrals to in-house services is nearing a final settlement. The Flathead Beacon reports Kalispell Regional Healthcare has reached a "settlement in principle" involving a whistleblower lawsuit and has booked a $21.5 million regulatory expense, including $1.5 million in legal fees, as a reserve this fiscal year.

    Authorities have released the names of two people who died in a fiery, head-on collision on U.S. Highway 2 in northwestern Montana. The Flathead County Sheriff's Office on Sunday said 27-year-old Marlow James Moschetti from Kalispell was driving a pickup at speeds up to 95 miles per hour prior to the July 26 crash, according to the Daily Inter Lake .

The man's truck crossed the center line and into a turn lane, striking a 56-year-old woman from South Carolina who was driving a Ford F-150 headed eastbound.

She also uses the last name Morigeau, and is sometimes nicknamed Liz.

"Visitors will be able to drive the entire 50-mile length of the road, and access Logan Pass.
