The levee system, Ice Harbor Dam near Burbank and Lower Monumental Dam near Kahlotus each had their risk rating reduced from "moderate risk" to "low risk" by the Army Corps of Engineers.

Maintenance crews are cleaning river debris from the turbine intake trash racks, according to the Army Corps of Engineers. The closure allows workers to use a large mobile crane for the work.
