    A city spokeswoman told KCCI that residents have been sending in bags of food and monetary donations to the Johnston Partnership for a Healthy Community, City Hall and the Johnston Public Library since the beginning of the month after the mayor announced she would run 1 mile for every bag of food or $10 donated. The Mayor's Run for Food is in its third year, and donations stay at the Johnston Partnership at 5870 Merle Hay Road Suite D. In January 2016, the mayor ran 191 miles as part of the same challenge.

    According to a police report, a maintenance worker found the devices and told officers he also reported one to Clive police on Wednesday, located inside a gas pump in that city. Two skimming devices were found at the gas station on Friday about 8:55 a.m. According to the police report, the device located on pump 7 was labeled "19" with blue pen ink and one on pump 6 as labeled "23."
