Jesse Erwin Strickland, 28, is charged with armed robbery, felony murder and malice murder in the death of Arthur G. Westberry, 70, of Jesup, Wayne County Sheriff John Carter announced in a news release issued Thursday.

The release did not identify what the address is, but it matches that of Red Carpet Inn in Jesup. Jesup police officers responded to a call for service in reference to a "possible unattended death" just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the news release.
