Started in the 1950s by the Homebuilders Sunday school class at the church, the tradition runs as heavy as the molten sugar that is molded every Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The tradition started with the Homebuilders Class, a Sunday class for young couples who were starting families, according to church member Earl Hardy.
