Wester issued the statement Wednesday, nine days after a grand jury report released in Harrisburg, Pa., said that hundreds of Pennsylvania priests had molested more than 1,000 children - and perhaps more - in the past 60-plus years.

The snow water equivalent recorded at the Santa Fe Snotel, a measuring station located at 11,445 feet elevation in the Sangre de Cristos, doubled from 0.7 inches on Saturday morning to 1.16 inches on Monday, the agency said.
