    A Columbia woman died Friday afternoon after jumping off an overpass in Holts Summit and then getting hit by a vehicle on U.S. 54. Witnesses later told police that Deana Arcane, 46, jumped from the bridge and landed on the westbound lanes of 54 below before being struck by a vehicle. Emergency medical crews worked on Arcane at the scene and took her to Capital Region Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
