The Rhoda L. Martin Cultural Heritage Center will hold a Low Country Boil on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 3-6 p.m. at the center located at 376 4th St. in Jacksonville Beach. The event is sponsored by the Jacksonville Beach Elementary Preservation Fund, a 501 organization. Comment?

We all love to hear and learn about new places to eat coming to the beaches - the build-up is so exciting! And, we are surely not going to be disappointed this Fall and into 2010! Our beaches community will be welcoming a few tried and true yummies and a few unknowns. Either way - can't wait to try them ALL! Many of the locations are still under construction, but, we will wait patiently! PJs Bar and Grill is opening up in the old Taco Bell location on 3rd Street in Neptune Beach. Comment?
The Sea and Sky Spectacular is already underway here at our beaches. What beautiful weather we have in store for this amazing show the next three days! The jets are roaring overhead as I write this and I can see those beautiful Blue Angels right outside my window - what an extraordinary event to have at our beaches! With our eyes aimed at the sky, we can't forget about filling our bellies with good food. Comment?
