United States Attorney Christopher A. "Kip" Crofts announced Friday that a settlement has been reached with James Anderson, requiring him to pay $2.925 million in damages resulting from the Horsethief Canyon Fire that began on September 8, 2012, near Jackson, Wyoming. The fire started approximately five miles south of Jackson, and spread to the Little Horsethief Canyon area, burning approximately 3,373 acres. Comment?
