    A Tishomingo County woman on the state sex offender list was arrested out of state and returned to Iuka last week. According to Tishomingo County Sheriff John Daugherty, Tammy Ladendorf left the residence she had listed on the sex offender registry and did not tell officials where she was going.

    A Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office safety checkpoint got illegal drugs and a stolen weapon off the streets this week. Tishomingo County Sheriff John Daugherty said a red 2000 Chevrolet truck pulled up to a safety checkpoint and both the driver and the passenger were acting extremely nervous.
