    Nassau County police arrested a Malverne man for an attempted assault in Island Park on Oct. 27 at 2:21 A.M. According to detectives, Robert Locascio, 47, was inside The Local Ale House on Long Beach Road, when he broke the front window of the bar with a 2 by 4, and then fled the scene in a 1999 Ford Ranger. The owner of the bar, who preferred not to be named, said that the incident happened outside the bar when the man acted strangely.
