Police said around 11:30 a.m. Jesus Gutierrez left his home in the 1000 block of Blaylock Circle, near North McArthur Boulevard, to go for a walk in a nearby park.

    The U.S. Geological Survey confirms what all those readers emails, tweet and phone calls said just after 8:09 this morning: There was indeed another earthquake in Irving. This one, the 16th since September 11, was a 2.8-magnitude temblor located at Loop 12 and State Highway 183 - otherwise known as the patch of land formerly called Texas Stadium and not far from Trinity East's gas-drilling site on Tom Braniff Drive across from the University of Dallas.
