Casey's General Store robbery - Jerry Baxley II, of Independence, and James M. Miller, of Lexington : The robbery cases against these two men have been continued, Baxley's until April 4 and Miller's until March 7. Baxley is charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor, and Miller is charged with three felonies.

At about the same time as the stabbing, an Independence man was injured in a domestic assault situation in the commuter parking lot near the junction of Missouri highways 10 and 13. The stabbing incident occurred between 9 and 9:30 p.m., according to Richmond police.
