    A 34-year-old man faces up to life in prison after he was found guilty Friday of the deadly beating of an Idalou farmhand two years ago at an East Lubbock club's parking lot. A jury of 10 women and two men in the 364th District Court deliberated for about three hours at the end of a weeklong trial before returning the guilty verdict against Lather Lewis Jr. Lewis has been held at the Lubbock County Detention Center since April 24, 2015, shortly after 57-year-old Antonio Gonzales was found lying on the ground in the parking lot of the Hitching Post at 2002 E. Broadway.
