    City of Blackfoot employees failed on Tuesday to clear the obstruction in the underground conduit of an overflowing canal. The canal began to flood the surrounding low-lying areas in mid-May. The cause was an obstruction in its underground section between E. Airport Road and its outlet into Jensen Grove Lake, in the zone immediately south of the airport's lone runway.
