Bridgestock, who was working as a medical assistant at the clinic, admitted to forging the prescriptions and was arrested for obtaining drugs by fraud, according to a Sandwich police report.

    West Nile virus has been detected in mosquitoes during routine sampling in Falmouth and Barnstable this week, according to the state Department of Public Health. Police found Bernier and Wagner, who both were believed to be intoxicated, outside on Tap City Grille in Hyannis, after the bar had refused to serve them around 12:30 a.m. Monday,  according to police.

Duane Alves, who lived in Falmouth and worked as a DJ on the Cape at the time, filed a lawsuit in 2012 seeking $2 million from the people he said were responsible for face and eye injuries he suffered at the former North Street Steak House and Sports Bar Inc. on May 25, 2011.
