    More arrests and charges could be pending in an ongoing Trinity County Sheriff's Office investigation that has already resulted in three people being arrested on sexual assault of a child charges. Bill Dale Williford, 47, of Trinity, was charged with first-degree felony sexual assault of a child, third-degree felony possession of child pornography, and Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than two ounces.

    Law enforcement officers in Trinity County arrested three people Friday on sexual assault of a child charges after a search warrant was served on a home on Wendy's Way, and officers found child pornography and video that allegedly showed one of the suspects sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Bill Dale Williford, 47, of Trinity, Lanissa Sue Voskamp-Johnson, 47, of Huntsville, and Stephen Douglas Copeland, 48, of Midway, were all arrested and charged with first-degree felony sexual assault of a child.

    A two-vehicle wreck in Polk County Wednesday afternoon resulted in four people getting airlifted to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. According to a press release, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to and investigated a two-vehicle wreck that occurred near the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and FM 3126 at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
