    A Huntsville man is facing drug trafficking charges after he led police on a car chase on Saturday, August 11 around 5 p.m. Investigators say patrol made a traffic stop on August 11 on a silver Malibu at Shields Road at Highway 72 E when the vehicle turned into the parking lot of McDonald's. The driver of the Malibu then continued through the parking lot and fled westbound on Highway 72. Another patrolman was able to spike strip the vehicle, blowing out one tire.
