    A Huntington Station man was arrested Friday after police said they used DNA evidence to link him to the scene of a 2015 burglary. On Oct. 3, a Huntington Station homeowner discovered a man unlawfully entered his home at 7:40 p.m. A struggle ensued and the intruder said he possessed a gun before fleeing the scene, police said.

A man in front of Huntington Community First Aid Squad headquarters, located at 2 Railroad St., informed members of an accident near the intersection of Railroad Street and Lowndes Avenue at approximately 3:45 p.m. An ambulance and a first responder vehicle with advance life support personnel were dispatched to the scene of the crash to find an unconscious and unresponsive man, approximately 18-years-old, who was involved in a collision with a vehicle while attempting to cross the street.

According to authorities, the two men entered Bloomingdale's, located at 270 Walt Whitman Road, and stole a Montcler winter jacket at 10:22 a.m. Police described the two men, who are wanted for petty larceny, as 20-25 years old and wearing black jeans.
