Hudsonville and Jenison schools went on lockdown Tuesday, and 24 Hour News 8 has uncovered the same Twitter account that took responsibility for the threat - with tweets like "RIP Hudsonville High School" - is the same that helped trigger a similar lockdown incident in early September at Coopersville Area Public Schools.

    Hudsonville High School and Jenison Public Schools were placed on lock down Tuesday due to a potential threat in the Hudsonville area. According to a letter from Hudsonville Public Schools Superintendent Nick Ceglarek, a call came in to the high school office which indicated a threat off school grounds, but it was close enough for school officials to take precautions.

    Ottawa County sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for a man who is suspected of taking tools from a home construction site near Hudsonville. The theft occurred Sunday sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the site in the 5000 block of Rosewood Lane in Blendon Township, sheriff's authorities said.
