    A 24-year-old former resident of Hudson, N.H., will spend 11 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to selling Fentanyl to a 22-year-old Maine woman who died of an overdose last year Dennis Higgins admitted that he sold Fentanyl to a 22-year-old woman from Kittery, Maine, on Feb. 15, 2016, a day before that woman was found dead of a Fentanyl overdose, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Hampshire. "While we support access to treatment for those who suffer from addiction, those who distribute these deadly drugs need to be held accountable for the substantial damage they are causing in our community," said Acting U.S. Attorney John Farley.

Hudson police said they were called to the intersection of Kimball Hill Road and Clement Road for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle about 10:30 p.m. A preliminary investigation determined a 2005 Harley Davidson driven by Thomas Ellis, of Billerica, was turning from Clement Road onto Kimball Hill Road when it was struck by a Ford Explorer being driven eastbound on Kimball Hill Road by Dante Lonardo, 18, of Hudson, according to police.
