    A construction worker was seriously injured Monday after he was pinned between a semitrailer and a piece of construction equipment. Jeremy Jerod Rushing, 35, of Bushnell was operating an asphalt milling machine at the northeast corner of U.S. 41 and Powell Road, south of Brooksville, about 1:15 p.m. Michael Blair McLendon, 45, of Tampa was driving a 2014 Mack truck west on Powell Road, approaching U.S. 41. McLendon, while attempting to make a right turn north onto U.S. 41, hit Rushing, trapping him between the rig and the milling machine.
