    Gov. Kay Ivey has appointed a Dothan circuit judge to fill the vacancy on Alabama's Supreme Court bench created by the resignation of Justice Glenn Murdock.     On 6-19-17 at approximately 7:51 p.m. the Fugitive Apprehension Division of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, along with the Cottondale Police Department and the Florida Highway Patrol, took Shannon Lee Harrison into custody at a residence on Zion St. in Cottondale Florida. Harrison was reported as an escapee from the Houston County Community Correctional Facility on Saturday, June 17th after he absconded from a work detail.
