    Starting this week, the Ramsdell Public Library in Housatonic will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays, when it also will feature special programming. As an "experiment," the library will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in an attempt to draw people to the library, to keep it vital and to be a prelude to the "Ramp Up Ramsdell" fundraising campaign, according to Holly Hamer, chairman of the library's board of trustees. 2 comments

Audet, 38, of Feeding Hills, was driving a red 2008 Hyundai Elantra on West Housatonic Street in Pittsfield just before 10 a.m. Tuesday when he was spotted by police, who believed it was involved in the theft of $100 worth of diapers from the Stop & Shop on Dan Fox Drive, according to a probable cause report.
