    Trailing by an 8 point deficit at halftime, the Blue Devils Basketball Team dug their way out and smashed the early lead by the St. Christopher Saints in the 2nd game of the Tri-City Holiday Classic Tournament on Thursday at Hopewell High School. At halftime the Blue Devils Coach Elvin Edmonds gave them a reality check in the locker room: the score was 39 to 31 and everything seemed to be working against Hopewell courtside.

When the Blue Devils Boys Team can smash the outside with 3 pointers and send James River Rapids spiraling in the first game of the Richmond Times Dispatch Tournament on December 15. In a close 1st half the Blue Devils defeated James River High School with a final score of 56 to 47. When they hit, they hit hard, tied in points was Blue Devils Faizohn Taylor and Elvin Edmonds IV with 17 points apiece. Behind was Malik Jefferson with 11 points.
