    A Cortland County man is accused of striking a parked patrol car this weekend in Homer, then driving away, according to the Cortland County Sheriff's Office. Jonathon R. Holl, 29, of 5192 Brake Hill Road in Homer, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer north on Prospect Street in Homer around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when he went off the side of the road and struck the police vehicle, causing extensive damage, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

    Franklin E. Mills Jr., 45, of Manlius, died at about 7 p.m. Saturday when he crashed while driving a snowmobile in Homer, according to the Cortland County Sheriff's Office. Mills was driving a 2012 Polaris Pro-R snowmobile north on snowmobile trail S57 on Chapman Road when he lost control of the vehicle, deputies said.

The 69-year-old Trucks, a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, plays with Bruce Katz on piano and organ, percussionist Garrett Dawson, guitarists Chris Vitarello, Damon Fowler and Heather Gillis and bassist Berry Oakley Jr., son of Allman member Berry Oakley, the band's original bass player.
