    A Missouri man who admitted he defrauded a rural Ogden woman out of several thousand dollars in a driveway repair scam has been sentenced to probation and ordered to make restitution to her and four others. John A. Watkins, Jr., 37, of Hannibal, Mo., pleaded guilty Thursday before Judge Roger Webber to a single count of aggravated home repair fraud, a Class 2 felony because his victim was over the age of 60. In exchange for Watkins' plea, the Illinois attorney general's office dismissed 10 other fraud-related counts against Watkins, who had a similar conviction in Missouri in 2015.
