    The Clearfield Area High School softball team was staring at a third consecutive shutout and possibly wasting another strong pitching performance by Raeleigh Redden until Aspen Bishop came through with a big hit in the top of the eighth inning at Legion Park Monday afternoon. Bishop lashed a one-out single down the left field line to drive in Nikki Brossard and Alana Kochan, ending the Lady Bison's string of scoreless innings at 23. Nikki Brossard bounced into a forceout after Lindsay Hand reached base on an error, Alana Kochan beat out a bunt and Brooke Cline followed with a swinging bunt to load the bases for Bishop.
