    Sheriff's investigators say a man was accidentally killed when a deputy's vehicle hit an oil slick sending the vehicle into the 18-year-old early Wednesday morning. Around 12:30 a.m. Patrick Chambers and a friend were chasing after a person who had reportedly just stolen Chambers' vehicle from the Hesperia eatery and bar, Hidden Tavern, in the 12700 block of Main Street where he worked as a chef, according to the San Bernardino County sheriff's officials and Chambers' sister-in-law, Brittney Chambers.
