The sheriff's office says dispatch received a 911 call warning of a wrong way driver on the interstate just about a minute before the crash.

    According to the sheriff's office, the car driven by 33-year-old Jeffrey Allan Haynes, of Henderson, was heading westbound on Diamond Avenue at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line into the eastbound lanes. Witnesses told deputies Haynes' vehicle reportedly glanced off the guardrail on the south side of the highway and entered the intersection of St. Joseph Ave. His vehicle then crashed into a car that was turning south onto St. Joseph Ave. from westbound Diamond Ave. Deputies say the driver of that car, a 19-year-old woman, sustained a cut to the side of her head and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
