Hernandez appeared before Saginaw County District Judge A.T. Frank on Monday, June 8, and waived his right to the hearing, intended for the judge to determine whether probable cause exists for trial.

Saginaw County District Judge M. Randall Jurrens on Thursday, May 21, granted in part a motion to dismiss the case that alleges, among other claims, breach of contract.
