The final day of the school year usually brings tears and hugs, but at Hemet's Cornerstone Christian School, those tears were of sadness and the hugs lingered a bit longer Friday, June 5, as it was the last school day ever.

This time, an unsuspecting woman steering a shiny black Chevrolet Suburban didn't see it and became stuck when she drove over the median that divides the center's entrance on Stetson Avenue driveway. The big SUV became stuck on the beach ball-sized boulder -- and its evil twin, a second smaller rock -- so firmly that it had to be lifted and pulled off by a tow truck.

Francisco Roy Zavala, 22, of Hemet, Francisco Siordia, 19, of San Jacinto and Joseph Venegas, 17, of Hemet are accused in the Jan. 14, 2013, slaying of 16-year-old Eric Ronald Sargeant Jr. All three defendants are charged with murder and a special circumstance allegation of killing in the course of a robbery.
