A park in southern Lake Elsinore will be upgraded to accommodate BMX biking and unleashed dog play while providing lighted onsite parking if the City Council approves a contract for the work Tuesday, Oct. 11. The council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Lake Elsinore Cultural Center, 183 N. Main St. Lake Elsinore administrators recommend the council approve a $798,400 contract with AToM Engineering Construction in Hemet to perform the work at Serenity Park, 19685 Palomar Road.
