Jennifer Sanders, 38, of Palmer Road, Hedgesville, was identified as the driver of a blue Ford Focus that on scene investigations have determined was traveling north on Back Creek Valley Road.

    The U.S. Marshals, Mountain State Fugitive Task Force were involved in a line-of-duty fatal shooting near Hedgesville, W.Va., Thursday. Captain E.D. Widmyer with the West Virginia State Police said in a statement the Marshals were attempting to arrest a suspect on armed robbery charges.

    Hannah Alice Lockhart, 28, of Wilson Boulevard, Winchester, Virginia, was arraigned Thursday in Berkeley County Magistrate Court on the misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled David Samuel Reed, 60, of Buick Avenue, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was arraigned Saturday in Berkeley County Magistrate Court on the misdemeanor charge of brandishing deadly weapon. John Arnold Haderer II, 40, of Back Creek Valley Road, Hedgesville, was arraigned Sunday in Berkeley County Magistrate Court on the felony charges of DUI 3rd, driving revoked DUI, no proof of insurance, refusal to fingerprint and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.

Wayne Kegley, 44, was one of 18 individuals federally indicted in December 2016 as part of a drug distribution network that caused large amounts of heroin to be transported from Baltimore, Maryland to Berkeley County.
