    If you love going on lovely drives, especially if those lovely drives take you through open lands with fields and fields of grapevines, here is one to put on your to-do list: Highway 128 from Calistoga heading north up to and through the Alexander Valley with your destination being the tiny town of Geyserville in Sonoma County . If you start this drive from Calistoga, it will likely mean that you have just come through Napa Valley via Highway 29, which is in itself a lovely and historic drive through a resplendent landscape full of future wine still on the vine.
