    Barry County Sheriff's deputies received a complaint about the incident involving Cody Hagon on July 12. Investigators are now trying to determine if Hagon engaged in sexual conduct with a Hastings child and are also trying to connect the man to instances of criminal sexual behavior in Battle Creek, where he works. Hagon, according to a press release, is charged with criminal sexual conduct, distribution of child sexually abusive material and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

    A man accused of sexually assaulting a child in Hastings and sending sexually abusive photos to an underage victim in East Lansing may have had inappropriate interaction with other minors, police said. Cody Patrick-Michael Hagon, 25, is charged with criminal sexual conduct, distribution of child sexually abusive material and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Barry County sheriff's officials said on Friday, July 22. Authorities began investigating Hagon on July 12 after he allegedly sent abusive pictures to a minor acquaintance in East Lansing.
