Council said that he's already started implementing his plans for the basketball program, which is scheduled to ramp up in earnest beginning in January.

    The Office of the Inspector General of the United States Postal Service is launching an investigation into the occasionally spotty mail service that has been plaguing Greenburgh residents in recent weeks. Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner announced on Thursday that after inquiring to U.S. Postal Service officials regarding the lack of delivery recently, he received an email from Patricia Irons, the Manager for Public Policy Planning and Analysis for U.S.P.S., who said the matter has been forwarded to the Inspector General.

    A 22-year-old man already behind bars is facing additional charges after a year-long investigation by detectives in four Westchester municipalities as well as Greenwich in Fairfield County resulted. Orgen Hoxha of Overlook Terrace in Manhattan was charged on Friday with two counts of burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony, Greenburgh Police said.
