    A call from a concerned resident about a suspicious car led to a large manhunt in Westchester that included helicopters with infra-red cameras and K-9 dogs, and a crash into two Rye Police cars by the suspects, prompting a school district lockout, according to Rye Police Commissioner Michael Corcoran. The incident began around 2:45 a.m., Wednesday on Johnson Place near the Greenhaven area of Rye,, when the resident called the police to report the suspicious car with at least one of the occupants walking into their neighbor's driveway, Cocoran said.

    A Westchester man was arrested at his home after fleeing the scene of a car crash that destroyed a bus stop and utility pole on Westchester Avenue in Harrison on Sunday. Harrison police said Jesus Cano, 27, of Yonkers was arrested and charged after the crash, which occurred along the eastbound side of the service road to I-287 about 5 p.m., said Detective Derka Abbate When Harrison and Westchester County police arrived on scene they found a black Acura RSX, that had gone off the road and knocked over a Westchester County bus stop and a utility police, temporarily cutting power to a nearby traffic signal.
