    The Harrisburg physician is accused of plotting to kidnap Saline County State's Attorney Mike Henshaw - who has since died - while in the Saline County Jail on murder charges. Prosecutors told the jury in opening statements that Burns offered an undercover detective $1,000 to kidnap Henshaw in an effort to get the murder charges against Burns dropped.
