The Lady Dragons responded to the challenge in a big way, holding the visiting Lady Jackets scoreless for all but a few seconds of the first quarter and without a field goal through the first half in building a 20-point lead at halftime on the way to a 59-28 victory.

While their record may not have reflected progress, dropping from 15-14 in 2016 to 14-15 in 2017, there's little doubt that the Harlan Green Dragons were an improved team in Derrick Akal's first season at the helm.
