    A Schaumburg man with 12 felony convictions for theft and drug charges was ordered held on a total bail of $80,000 Friday on charges he and a co-defendant took tools from a Hanover Park home improvement store earlier this month. Jason Jarvis, 34, and co-defendant David Cline, 33, also of Schaumburg, were charged with theft, a class 3 felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

    A Countryside man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old Hanover Park man in Chicago's South Loop on June 6. Noberto Frausto, 37, was apprehended in Ingham County, Michigan on Wednesday and charged with first degree murder, according to Chicago Police. Frausto is accused of firing several shots into the pickup truck containing Sami Salaymeh and three other people, while on the 2300 block of South Michigan Avenue around 3:58 a.m. Salaymeh was shot twice in the stomach, and a 23-year-old woman in the car also sustained gunshot wounds, according to police.
